Fernando Torres scored the lone goal in Spain's victory over Germany.

Torres leads Spain to EURO championship

For the first time since 1964, Spain is on top of the soccer world. Fernando Torres, scoring his second goal of the 2008 European Championships, put Spain ahead en route to a 1-0 victory over Germany.

Named man of the match, Torres was excited about the accomplishment for both himself and his country.

"It is a dream come true," Torres said. "This was a great victory for the whole team and for the whole of Spain."

Coach Luis Aragones believed that Torres was the spark to his team's success.

"Fernando is a great player for Liverpool and for our team and he can go anywhere because he has really extraordinary speed and he knows how to dribble," Aragones said. "We always tell him he's a player who is so young that he can learn to do everything and there is no doubt he can be one of the best players in the world."

While Spain may have won the title, if you're reading this, you're probably wondering who is taking home the Euro Jersey, ESPNShop gift card and video game prize pack. That honor, unofficially, belongs to the "GueRRillaRadio.com" entry.

With 44 points "GueRRillaRadio.com" made his way to the top of the leader board. This player selected 18 correct games out of the possible 24 in the first round of the championship to put himself on the right path. Throughout the quarterfinals, semifinals and final match, he made only one incorrect selection, which enabled him to hold off the four entries who each finished with 43 points.
