McGrady made his San Antonio debut Sunday in the Game 4 win over the Lakers. He played five minutes, missed his lone shot, and recorded an assists and a steal.

McGrady is still far from making his debut with the Spurs, the San Antonio Express-News reports. Coach Gregg Popovich said that it's still unlikely he will play for quite some time. "We're going real slow," Popovich said. "We wanted to have another body just as an insurance policy. You don't know what's going to happen during a playoff series. We wanted to add someone."
