Rules: Head-to-Head Scoring
Important Note: Live box sscore views are not official until the Tuesday AM stat load has processed. The deadline for all weekly scoring or stat corrections made by the system is Saturday at 5pm ET each week during the NFL season. Please do not email the league office until all stat corrections have been made. See Scoring Corrections below for more information.All 2007 Fantasy Football leagues use the Head-to-Head scoring format. See your "League Settings" page to view your league's particular settings. In H2H scoring leagues each team sets their lineup and earn points based on the statistics they generate in actual NFL games. The NFL stats are converted into fantasy points -- based on your league settings -- and are then added together for a weekly team score. Statistics from bench players do NOT earn any points, though in customizable leagues, they can be used as a tiebreaker. The winner of the game is the team with more fantasy points earned for the week (note this could be two weeks for playoff games). In the event that both you and your opponent accumulate the same number of fantasy points, and your league does not have a weekly tiebreaker, the game result will end in a tie. If your league uses a weekly tiebreaker (ie, Most points from bench), the system will automatically break the tie based on the weekly tiebreaker setting. No playoff game can end in a tie (see the Playoffs page for more information).
Schedule & Results: When the league is created for the new season each league's schedule is randomly generated based on the number of teams in the league, the number of division and the number of weeks in the regular season. In customizable leagues, the league manager has the ability to customize each team's schedule to their preferences using the "LM Tools" page. The league's schedules can be viewed on both a league and team level. Your team's schedule is available on your team page and displays each week's opponent (as well as results). Each game is assigned a home and away team but this is only applicable for leagues which assign home field advantage points. If you're in a league with no home field advantage rules you can disregard the home and away designation. Below is an example of how the "Schedule and Results" page appears.
|2007 SEASON SCHEDULE|
|Week 1||1-0||at||NY Long Bombers||Chris Azinger|
|Week 2||2-0||Baltimore Colts||David Jackson|
|Week 3||at||Bay Area Whalers||Steve Berman|
Note: In customizable leagues, the League Manager can change your league's schedule at any time during the season.
Weekly results: All active players earn fantasy points for all of your league's categories (you do not receive points for players on your bench). The team with the most points wins the game and games ending in a tie are broken according to the League Setting. Each week's game results are available in three views: 1- Quick Box Score, 2- Full Box Score, and 3- Scoring Breakdown.
The "Quick Box Score" page is the top-level view and only displays the total scored points for each active player, as show in the example below:
|BOSTON PATRIOTS (2-0, 204 PF, 171 PA)|
The "Scoring Breakdown" page displays the fantasy points scored in each relevant scoring category for each active player on your team, as shown below:
|BOSTON PATRIOTS (2-0, 204 PF, 171 PA)|
Scoring Corrections: An average NFL game has ~150 total plays from scrimmage and it is inevitable that over the course of the season some scoring plays and player statistics are recorded incorrectly. This is why we note that all live scoring views are not official until Tuesday AM. This is to ensure all are correct before we process and update the weekly league standings. Also note that if our stat provider sends us a scoring or stat change after Tuesday we have a window of time to enter these corrections in the system. The deadline for all weekly scoring or stat corrections made by the system is Saturday at 5pm ET each week during the NFL season. Any changes entered in the system will automatically reflect in both your Box Score and Standings pages. Customizable League Note: If the league manager notices the incorrect scoring and uses the "Adjust Scoring" LM tool to manually change the score, and then the system updates to reflect it, a team will be awarded with double credit for the correction. If this is the case you should contact your league manager and ask him/her to re-adjust the scoring to remove the manual points he/she entered.
Standings: Weekly standings update each week early Tuesday morning ET. As noted above, Standings can change after the main Tuesday update if either 1- our stat service provider sends us a change before Saturday at 5pm and that corrections changes the winner of a game or 2- the league manager uses the "Adjust Scoring" tool to manually award (or reduce) points to a team, and that adjustment changes the game result. Below is an example of a Standings page, which is available in the main game navigation.
