League Manager's Note
The Fliederbowl Shuffle
One more year is behind us, and we have our 2011 Champion (me). Due to the overwhelming humility of this year's champ (me), He (I), asked that we not make a big deal about his (my) amazing run to glory. Instead, he (I), asked that we celebrate everyon else's successes, rather than his (mine).
So,
Congratulations to Team Love, for your acquisition of the #1 overall pick.
Congratulations to the Zombies, for not coming in last place, due 66 more "points for"
Congratulations to I think I'll kick your ass, for being correct 23% of the time.
Congratulations to Team Fisher, for coming within 36 points of the playoffs.
Congratulations to Team Dowell, for following the one-and-done path that so many Defending Championship teams have laid.
Congratulations to Forza Ortopedica, for taking over a perennial one-and-done team, and going, ahem, one-and-done.
Congratulations to The Mighty Fins, for "Seahawking" (yes, I'm making this a verb) his division, going to the playoffs with a losing record, and "Tebowing" (yup) his 1st opponent.
Congratulations to I'm a Badboy, for following the "Early 90's Buffalo Bills plan for success" to perfection yet again.
Congratulations to the Sabres For coming within one game of being the first team to win two championships.
And Finally, Congratulations to My Johnsons go Long (ME), for being the first team to win two Championships. We should all bow before your (my) awesome "Fearatude".
January 2nd, at Oscars. If the Rose or Fiesta Bowls are on, I'll be there. See you then, boys.
Good Year,
-J
