| PLAYER, TEAM POS | LATEST REPORT... |
| Joseph Addai, Ind RB P | Addai had 11 carries for 23 yards and three receptions for 14 yards in Saturday's playoff win over Baltimore. He left the game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury but later returned in the third quarter. Spin: Addai saw a few less carries than usual due to the shoulder injury, but he should be fine for next week's AFC Championship game. |
| Mario Manningham, NYG WR P | Manningham had 57 catches for 822 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games this season. Spin: Manningham showed flashes of being a legitimate NFL playmaker, but his frequent mental lapses eventually got him demoted from the starting lineup. With a good training camp, he should resume his role as the team's No. 3 wideout again next season. |
| Percy Harvin, Min WR Q | Harvin (migraines) will play in the NFC Championship, according to John Czarnecki of FOXSports.com. Spin: The report states that Harvin improved the past two days and expects to play. We likely won't know for sure until the inactive report is released about an hour before kickoff on Sunday. |
| Jonathan Stewart, Car RB P | Stewart (Achilles) had successful surgery on Wednesday and he's expected to be ready for minicamp in May, the Charlotte Observer reports. Spin: His agent did not reveal the specific surgery that Stewart had, but he said that it was to alleviate the lingering pain that Stewart has been dealing with around his Achilles. Even with the injury and limited practices throughout the season, Stewart rushed for a team-high 1,133 yards in 2009. He figures to share time with DeAngelo Williams in the Carolina backfield for the third straight season. |
| Derrick Mason, Bal WR P | Mason finished the 2009 regular season with 73 receptions for 1,028 yards and seven touchdowns. Spin: Mason remained far-and-away Joe Flacco's favorite target throughout the 2009 regular season, putting up similar numbers to 2008 plus two more touchdowns. He'll be 36 in January, however, and after toying with retirement last offseason one has to begin wondering how much is left in the tank. Still, he has proven he shouldn't be doubted, and if the Ravens remain quiet in the receiver market again in the offseason he will be in line for the same role next season. |
