Bush rushed for 25 yards and added another 38 yards receiving in helping the Saints win their first championship in franchise history in Sunday's Super Bowl.

Bush muffed a punt near the end of Sunday's NFC Championship game but redeemed himself by catching two passes for 33 yards, including a five-yard touchdown that helped the Saints reach their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Bush is dealing with the flu, NBC Sports reports.

"Reggie! Reggie! Reggie!" The chants poured from the Superdome ceiling as Bush had one of his best games of the year, carrying the ball five times for 84 yards and gathering four passes for 24 yards. Bush scored once on an electric, highlight-reel 46-yard run and scored again on an explosive 83-yard punt return in Saturday's divisional playoff game against Arizona.
