C.J. Spiller News Archive
Spiller had 13 carries for 67 rushing yards and one catch on two targets for one receiving yard Sunday against the Jaguars.
Spiller had 11 carries for 22 yards and caught the lone pass thrown his way for 26 yards in Sunday's blowout loss at Tampa Bay.
Although Spiller said his ankle, which has given him trouble all season, was fine after Sunday's loss to Atlanta, he was noticeably limping at times and also took himself out of the game on occasion to have the ankle looked at, The Buffalo News reports. Said coach Doug Marrone: "He goes in there and makes the big run and gets nicked up. Starts limping a little bit, and gets himself back in there."
Spiller ran 15 times for 149 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Falcons. He also caught two passes on four targets for just eight yards.
Spiller says his ankle is feeling better following the team's bye week, BuffaloBills.com reports. Said the running back on Wednesday, "I feel good. I definitely feel like I'm getting back to my old self, making the cuts, making that explosion, so just looking forward to seeing how Sunday goes."
