2013 Outlook: Every year the Jags proclaim they've fixed their pass rush. And every year they haven't. For four straight seaons, Jacksonville has ranked 25th or worse in sacks, and in '12 they were dead last. Jason Babin came off waivers to play five games with the Jags, and his 1.5 sacks in those contests put him only two away from the team lead for the season. It's true that new coach Gus Bradley comes with a sterling defensive pedigree, so maybe we're underrating this gang who couldn't sack straight. But we'll believe in a massive upgrade when we see it.
2013 Outlook: Unless you're in a 32-team fantasy league, this defense shouldn't interest you. LaMarr Houston and new Will linebacker Kevin Burnett are strong against the run, but there's no pass rush at all. And the secondary looks even worse. Castoffs Mike Jenkins, Charles Woodson and rookie D.J. Hayden will start on the back end. Yikes. We love Tyvon Branch at strong safety, but he literally may be the only above-average starter on this entire defense. (Nick Roach as a starting middle linebacker at 234 pounds?) Stay far away.
