System requirements for the Java applet

For optimal participation in the ESPN Fantasy Football '98 Live Draft Java applet, participants are strongly encouraged to meet or exceed the following system requirements.

PC system (sorry, Mac users)
32 Meg of RAM
A 486 or better processor chip (Pentium recommended)
A 4.0 or higher version of Netscape or Internet Explorer

Live drafters who do not meet or exceed these system requirements may still be able to load and participate in ESPN's Java Draft applet, although a number of pre-draft procedures must be taken to ensure that the draft can still be conducted effectively in the event that Java is not an option.

All Live Draft participants, particularly those who do not meet the minimum system requirements, should be prepared to draft their players using the HTML draft version. Preparation includes ranking players in the provided draft list, and reading and understanding the HTML Walkthrough for Live Drafters.
