Bryzgalov stopped 21 of 22 shots Thursday in a 2-1 win over the Islanders.

Bryzgalov is slated to start Thursday's game against the Islanders, CSN Philadelphia's Tim Panaccio reports.

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said there's no basis to the speculation that Bryzgalov will have his contract amnestied in the offseason, ESPN.com reports. Holmgren said he feels the addition of Steve Mason theoretically means Bryzgalov won't have to play too many games.
