Kimbrel notched two strikeouts while retiring the side in order en route to his 30th save of the season in Friday's win over the Phillies.
Kimbrel could see more four- and five-out save chances moving forward, MLB.com reports. "The more he can do that, the more you feel comfortable using him in the postseason that way," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "I don't feel comfortable yet using him two innings. But in the course of the year when the situation is right, where you have him pitching four or five days, maybe you go five outs and keep working him that way, but the pitch count is the biggest thing."
