Bradley hit leadoff and played center field for Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday. He went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
Bradley was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday, Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reports.
Bradley went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Friday night's loss to the Astros. He had hits in each of the last two games before Friday.
Bradley snapped his hitless streak Wednesday, going 1-for-3 in a win over the Reds. He had gone 35 straight at-bats without a hit before his second-inning single.
Bradley was back in the starting lineup Sunday and went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts in Boston's win over the Angels. Bradley is having an historically poor hitting season, which got worse Sunday. He's now hitless in his last 35 at-bats with 18 strikeouts.
Bradley, who has not been in the starting lineup for four of the past five games, is taking some time to concentrate on adjustments to his swing, the Providence Journal reports. "We need [his playing time] to increase," manager John Farrell said. "And yet there's a stretch of time here where we're addressing some things."
Bradley is out of the lineup again Saturday against the Angels.
Bradley entered Friday night's game as a defensive replacement and made two sensational plays in the field in a win over the Angels.
Bradley is not in the lineup Friday, the Boston Globe's Pete Abraham reports.
General manager Ben Cherington acknowledged that "at some point there is going to have to be more offense" from Bradley, WEEI.com reports.
