Beckett (hip) threw from 90 feet Thursday, and said afterward that he felt pretty good, the Dodgers' official website reports.
GM Ned Colletti indicated that he's hopeful Beckett (hip) will return from the disabled list before the end of July, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Beckett underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which revealed "hip impingement syndrome," Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports. He was treated with a cortisone injection.
The Dodgers placed Beckett (hip) on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
