Utley said his ankle has improved since he arrived at camp last month, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. "I'm making a little progress," Utley said. "Obviously, I wish it was a little quicker, but I'm trying to be smart about it. It seems like it's making some progressions every few days. As long as it continues to do that, I'd like to get out there as soon as possible."
Utley (ankle) did not work out Monday and he will not play in games for "a while," according to general manager Ruben Amaro, MLB.com's Todd Zolecki reports.
