Hector “The Projector”
After graduating from The Bronx High School of Science in the early 90s, Hector opted against college and instead joined a top-secret government think tank just outside of Montreal. There, he perfected his Hecto-tron DA-42, a computer with an uncanny ability to predict future events. Hector's current whereabouts are, needless to say, classified, though telephone calls made to him are frequently answered by a woman calling herself "Mother." Regardless of his shadowy background, the fact remains that Hector's willingness to share his projections with the ESPN fantasy community is proof that he has chosen to use his powers for good, rather than for evil.
Victor “The Predictor”
Victor was born and raised in upstate Canastota, New York, the son of an onion-farmer father and olive oil-making mother. While Hector eschewed the Bronx for the glamorous life in Canada, Victor attended Fordham University, where he punted on the varsity football team until a stunt with the mascot went horribly awry, and he was forced to quit the game he loved. Without football in his life, Victor began running numbers for the neighborhood bookies, eventually learning enough about player trends, inclinations and output to join the ranks himself, proving to be a man among insects in player prediction. By the time he was 28, he was a millionaire several times over. He eventually retired and moved back to Canastota and his father's onion farm; that's where ESPN found him, punting onions in a tattered Fordham jersey patched with $100 bills.
