NASCAR Drivers residing on the contestant's team will receive points using the following formula: Winston Cup points earned by the driver for position of finish, plus lap led bonuses and most laps led bonuses awarded by NASCAR following each Winston Cup points race. Team totals are based on the Winston Cup scoring system. The number of points earned by a driver is exactly equal to the number of points awarded to participants who have that driver on their team. The bonuses for most laps led and lap leaders are included in this total (same point structure as Winston Cup Series). Points are awarded for each race, and added to the overall standings. Points will be awarded only to drivers who earn Winston Cup points for that event.
