NBA Finals MVP Paul Pierce and the rest of the Celtics' have delivered Boston its first championship since the 1985-86 season.
Celtics Crush in Game 6!
The Boston Celtics won their 17th NBA title in convincing fashion by dominating the L.A. Lakers 131-92 to win the 2008 NBA Finals in six games. The big three -- Garnett, Pierce, and Allen -- had 26, 17, and 26 points respectively to lead the Celtics to their first NBA championship in 22 years.
