The NASCAR season is about to begin and the drivers have spent the past few months getting their cars ready for a long season full of high speeds, great wins and tough losses. Last season, Jimmie Johnson proved yet again that he was the best driver in the business and everyone's eyes will be on him in 2010 as he goes for his fifth consecutive Sprint Cup title. However, when it comes down to Stock Car Challenge, you're going to need a lot more than just Jimmie Johnson if you want to find the winner's circle.
Stock Car Challenge offers all fantasy and racing fans the chance to be part of the action, but in 2010, ESPN.com has changed the game once again. Once you create your entry, you'll need to select a total of five drivers. Instead of having a salary cap like in past years, you'll pick three drivers out of the 15 drivers that consist of Group A. After you've made your selections from Group A, you'll complete your roster with two drivers from Group B. Once you have your five drivers, you're ready for this week's race.
If your drivers don't perform, you can change your roster each week to find the best options from each group. There are three segments of Stock Car Challenge during 2010 giving you a fresh start every three months and if you prove that you can pick the best roster time and time again, you could be on your way to Stock Car Challenge glory. If you find yourself at the top of the leaderboard during any segment, the grand prize, consisting of 1,000 ESPN Winner's Circle points, will be yours!
