An Italian Championship
That's all she wrote for the 2006 World Cup folks! Italy brought home the hardware after battling France thru extra time for the win in penalty kicks. What a memorable game as Zidane was given the red card minutes before the PKs began. Italy put every PK shot in the back of the net to secure their 4th World Cup Championship. Thanks for playing the 2006 ESPNsoccernet Germany Cup Pick'em. We hope you had fun competing on the world stage!
