the WNBA regular season.

Q: When are winners announced?
A: Each week, the team accumulating the most points during the prior week
will win a Weekly Prize. All other winners will be announced within one week of the completion of the game.
Q: What happens if there's a tie?
A: If two or more teams are tied for the top weekly score, the winner will
be the team with the highest single-day score during that week. If two or
more teams are tied for the overall score, the winner will be the team with
the highest overall score before the subtraction of the two lowest scoring
weeks.
Q: How are scores calculated?
A: Coaches earn five points for a win and Individual player points are
calculated using the following formula:
(PTS+REB+AST+STL+BLK) - ((FGA-FGM)+(FTA-FTM)+TO)
For example, if a player shoots 5-of-10 from the field and 5-of-7 from the
free-throw line and totals 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2
blocked shots and 3 turnovers, her total points earned would be 20:
(15 + 6 + 4 + 3 + 2) - ((10 - 5) + (7 - 5) + 3) = 20
Each team earns the total points accumulated by its players and coach
during the course of the week.
Q: When will scores be updated?
A: Scores will be updated following each day of play. Weekly scores will be calculated on Monday mornings to reflect the entire previous week's results.
Q: How many games per week count towards the stats?
A: Players are rated on their per-game average, but accumulate stats over all games. Ideally, you want players in your lineup that have a game the following day.
Q: Is there any limit to the number of transactions I can make?
A: No. Teams choosing to change any or all players may do so on any day and there is no limit to the number of transactions you may make.
Q: What happens if I go over the team rating limit?
A: Teams must keep their total rating under the limit of 80. If, in selecting your team, your total rating goes over 80, your team will not earn any points for the upcoming week.
Q: What happens if my player's rating increases, pushing my team over the total rating limit?
A: Players are applied to your rating limit at the rating at which you acquired them. If you acquire a player with a rating of 15, and her rating increases to 20 during the week, her original rating of 15 will be applied to your limit.
Q: What happens if my player's rating decreases, but I still want to keep the player?
A: If the rating decreases, you can simply 'renegotiate values' which will essentially give you that player for the new, lower rating. This service only applies to players with ratings lower than their locked values.
Q: I picked up a new player during the day; when will this change be reflected in my stats?
A: Your stats will reflect this player -- and all new players added to your roster during that day -- starting the following day. All transactions made during the current day don't affect your lineup until the following day.
Q: When I pick up a new player will I get her year-to-date stats?
A: No. The only stats that you will officially be credited with are the ones that players earn while on your active roster. You will continue to accumulate stats for dropped player(s) until the following day, at which point you will begin to accumulate stats for the new player(s).
